The CW Guitar Audio Studio 1U Rack Mount Switcher is a novel solution allowing you to switch between tracking and mixing on the fly. This saves you time while allowing creativity to flow without constantly needing to reconfigure cable routing to/from patch bays, DI’s, mics, preamps, and interfaces. This is the only switcher of its kind containing up to 10 balanced inputs to 20 balanced outputs in a 1U rackmount form factor.
This unit is completely passive. It switches silently with no latency, no popping, no hum, and no coloring of your signal whatsoever. An optional -20dB attenuator pad for use with studio preamps that lack a line input can be added to the B channel “mix” outputs for reducing signal levels without clipping. As-pictured are two 10 channel input units w/male balanced XLR jacks that splits to “track” & “mix” outputs on 20 individual 1/4” TRS balanced jacks along with switchable -20dB attenuators on the “mix” outputs. All units are handmade to order in Delaware, Ohio USA using only the highest quality components.
